The M/V Macuti sank in the Beira River Channel after a collision with an undisclosed vessel. Dormac was awarded the initial cleaning and preservation contract, due to our experience and the quality and range of our capabilities, together with the warranty offered. The Macuti arrived in Durban in late February, and the main repair project, which was also entrusted to Dormac, is expected to take 6 months, due in part to the OEM supply timelines.
