DORMAC welcomes the newest addition to our offering in the Port of Durban. The 60t “Imvubu” Floating Crane. With a draft of 4m, this self-propelled crane is available for use nearly anywhere within the Port of Durban.
The cost of using the floating crane is significantly less than the costs to set up a mobile/tower crane.
With a full deck length of 47.5m and a cargo deck area of 20m x 14m, the floating crane is more than capable of assisting with general lifting as well as the loading and unloading of ships docked alongside or within our two floating docks.
In addition to the above, the floating crane is able to assist with the transhipment of goods as well as provide an effective ship to shore transportation solution for cargo.
