Dormac was contacted by the MT Bow Riyad regarding a small hole discovered in a ballast tank beneath a sounding pipe. Upon approval, Dormac Steel and Diving teams mobilised and completed the repairs in record time.

The Vessel Algoa

Dormac, with the help of AESSEAL, used Belzona to repair the vessel Algoa back to its original state. The application method included a new deck plating bonded to the prepared deck with Belzona 1111, and filling the void between the old and new decks by injecting Belzona 1321 into the cavity. Once injected, the new surface of the deck was sealed and protected with Belzona 5811. The usage of this cold bonding technology proved to be a great success!
