Dormac has a trade record of offering complex and successful solutions to vessels in distress using our experienced and innovative ship repair managers and dive teams. Dormac also offers a wide range of specialised engineering services to industrial clients. These include amongst others, heavy machining, steel and pipe fabrication. The company has offices situated in, Durban, Richards Bay, Cape Town, Saldanha Bay & Walvis Bay in Namibia. Dormac also provide a 'riding squad' or 'Shipyard in a Box' service to clients around Sub Saharan Africa including West Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands, Tanzania, Mozambique, Kenya Dormac is an audited and accredited Level 3 BBBEE (Broad Based Black Economically Empowered) company. This milestone has been achieved through both the Board of Directors and the Management teams commitment to procurement, training and enterprise development, which scored full marks and resulted in the improvement from a Level 4 empowered Company.
