Estimator - Cape Town

The company seeks to appoint an Estimator in the Offshore division to be based at the Cape Town office. The successful candidate must be dynamic and proactive, with high skill levels and competencies in the following key areas :

• Interpret client specifications and drawings
• Prepare detailed specifications and work scopes
  
• Preparation of tender documents
  
• Produce computer generated detailed project Gantt charts
• Estimate manpower, materials and other resource requirements
• Call for subcontractor tenders
• Attend planning meetings and submit variation orders as required
• Carry out on board inspections as and when required
  

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification
  
• 5 years marine and offshore related experience
  
• High level of computer literacy

Ship Repair Forman - Cape Town

The company seeks to appoint a Ship Repair Foreman to be based at the Cape Town office. The successful candidate must be dynamic and proactive, with high skill levels and competencies in the following key areas :

• Excellent knowledge on Tailshaft removal, Rudder and Thruster repair, Steering Gears
• Analyse the scope of work on vessels and co ordinate manning levels
• Plan, control and monitor work with feedback to the relevant parties
  
• Ensure an acceptable standard of quality is maintained in accordance with the Company`s Quality System procedures
  
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality workmanship
  

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualification
• 5 years supervisory experience within a Ship Repair environment
• Candidate must be willing to travel locally and offshore at short notice

Project Manager - Cape Town

The company seeks to appoint a Project Manager in the Ship Repair division to be based at the Cape Town office. The successful candidate must be dynamic and proactive, with high skill levels and competencies in the following key areas :

• Analyse scope of work on each vessel
  
• Monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery while maintaining high standards and cost effectiveness
• Co ordinate with various departments and sub contractors on a daily basis for achieving targets in line with project plan
• Ensure accurate and timeous completion of all invoices
• Ensure that all legal requirements are adhered

• Relevant technical qualification
  
• 5 years supervisory / project experience within a Ship Repair enviroment
  
• Candidate must be willing to travel locally and offshore at short notice
