Coral Sea In Capetown

The diamond mining vessel Coral Sea was recently dry-docked in Cape Town for maintenance and repair. Dormac performed various tasks in and around the Plant Area and the Pump Room, fabricating structures in our workshops and installing them on the vessel. Among others, we partially fabricated a new foam and fire system, performing final tie-ins onboard with ±150m of piping and dossing droppers on five levels. We’re proud to announce 40 000 injury free man hours! Find out more about our Fabrication Services.

Hi! My name is Ryan Solomon. I’m urgently looking for a job, which is hard to find nowadays. So I went on the Internet and saw that dormac offers apprenticeships for those who are in need. I’m interested in doing welding. I used to work with my uncle for about two years and he does construction work as a boilermaker. I decided to take a step further and went out to look for other jobs, but didn’t find one. You have to have matrix to get a job and I was wondering, you probably need matrix to enter heaven also? But I’m begging you please give me this opportunity to do an apprenticeship. I really need this! I left school in grade 10 but I’m also hardworking so I am ready for this.

Kind Regards
